For Kids aged 7-9 Do you want your child to embrace maths as a problem-solving tool they'll use for the rest of their life? Raymondson will take them there! Our extraordinary maths classes are designed to hone your child's mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. In a Raymondson Maths problem solving session, your child works through a set of non-routine problem-solving questions that are adapted from math competitions that take place across the globe, for their age band. Your child will learn to answer problems rarely seen in school and more challenging that those in school based exams. Our classes are designed to: -strengthen creative problem solving and logical reasoning skills -further develop the mathematical intelligence of motivated students -help students excel in entrance exams (7+, 11+,13+) , school exams ( SATs, GCSE) and both national and international maths competitions. Problem Solving Strategies we develop include: -Systematic listing -Guess and check -Guess and improve -Visual modelling -Working backwards -Looking for Patterns -Logical Reasoning Topics we cover: Arithmetic Algebraic Thinking Geometry and Measures Statistics Probability
